I have made a slackbuild for qemu:

and also for kqemu:

http://www.rootshell.be/~core/slackbuilds/kqemu-1.3.0pre11/

Give them a try and tell me if them work "out-of-the-box" ;)

Note: To build qemu, you need gcc-3.4.x, i have made a slackbuild for it in a "SBo-way", but you can save time by using this packages(gcc34 and gcc34-g++) made by Alien BOB:
