[Slackbuilds-users] building everything as root

How would building from source change anything?  You'd still have to be 
root to install the software with a "make install".

The rationale for building packages as root is that "make ; make 
install" is normally done as root as well, so this keeps the package 
builds close to how a manual build would be done (which is probably the 
most tested, and therefore reliable, method).
