Sorry, did not intend to send that last message yet  =8P.  Too many e-mails 
open at one time.  Oh well.  So, I did build the jack-audio-connector, but I 
had to alter the options in the buildscript to exclude capabilities.  This 
allowed jack to build, and thus rosegarden and ardour, but I'm not certain 
things are all fine-and-dandy.  I intended to do some more research before 
asking but ...

Thanks for any input.  Sorry if this has been asked and answered.  I was about 
to check the mailing list.
