Good news.
I intended to maintain this. But for some reason gave up.
And there is an nagios-plugins package.

IMHO, we'd better change these.
Further more, how about placing cgi and web root in a same web root dir?
> run file - /var/nagios
> config dir - /etc/nagios
> plugins - /usr/local/nagios/plugins
Yeah, there are many many kinds of plugins. So, how about put them all 
into /var/lib/nagiosplugins?

Just to mentaion, with lockfile => /var/run/nagios.pid
