[Slackbuilds-users] Problems with Compiz installation

I've had no problem building this, however I do use a full gnome
installation, and imo the gconf backend is useless. It does not appear
to have any benefit I find. I've been using compiz on gnome for about 2
weeks now, only using the backend of "flat file". All the settings are
still easily changed using the 'ccsm' which is *much* easier than
navigating gconf's settings throught the gconf-editor tool. All
settings are easily accessed from the fusion-icon that sits in the tray.
Good Luck.
