Hi Robby, Marco.
Sorry, I don't speak English.
In the pdnsd-1.2.7/src/rc/README file from pdnsd-1.2.7 source.
You can read
"
Slackware
---------
A Slackware start-up script rc.pdnsd was contributed by Nikola Kotur
<kotnik at ns-linux.org>.
His comments were:
Slackware uses traditional BSD style init script layout instead of SystemV
style startup scripts. So I adjusted the start-up script for pdnsd, and
now it can be used with Slackware 9.1 distribution, and probably with all the
others.
Additional info:
1) put these lines in the /etc/rc.d/rc.M:
if [ -x /etc/rc.d/rc.pdnsd ]; then
. /etc/rc.d/rc.pdnsd start
fi
2) put these lines in the /etc/rc.d/rc.6 and /etc/rc.d/rc.K:
if [ -x /etc/rc.d/rc.pdnsd ]; then
. /etc/rc.d/rc.pdnsd stop
fi
"
After the package installation, during the shutdown process the following
message appears:
"INIT: No more processes left in this runlevel.."
And the system is locked.
After submitting the package is that I realized this problem, just get hung up
when my machine.
But I think Mr. Robby Workman did fix the problem for me. :)
Because when the package downloaded from the instruction in README
slackbuild.org were:
"
Add this to /etc/rc.d/rc.local:
if [ -x /etc/rc.d/rc.pdnsd ]; then
/etc/rc.d/rc.pdnsd start
fi
Add this to /etc/rc.d/rc.local_shutdown
if [ -x /etc/rc.d/rc.pdnsd ]; then
/etc/rc.d/rc.pdnsd stop
fi
"
And it works.
Package now works correctly. How should I proceed to submit the package again?
