Should I update my build of bbdb?  It does not depend on any core system
components, and works with the official Slackware Emacs.  What's the
policy on a package like this?

I suppose I need to update to handle the new package format, but I do
not have a -current machine to use (though I could install at home if
this is my duty as a maintainer).
