Thank you, Niels and Nishant.

I've decided to use a mixed approach.
spamassassin package will be without rules and there will be no
additional packages and no updates in doinst/SlackBuild, I'll put a
warning in README.SLACKWARE and I will install a script in cron for
providing periodic updates (Upstream recommends a daily
update, but I think a check every week should be enough, reasonably).
