Thanks for the fixes, but I think it is time to update to the latest version 
of soundtouch which doesn't have that issue.
The main problem that kept me from doing this earlier was an incompatibility 
with audacity which in turn is fixed in newer audacity versions, that however 
want ffmpeg > 0.5.x.
With ffmpeg-0.6 on the horizon this issue is gone as well, which means 
audacity can be safely updated.
