There are also revised docs, including a new THANKS file that tries to give credit to all the people who've helped with this project. This release can be downloaded from http://www.sbopkg.org or http://code.google.com/p/sbopkg/ The relevant section of the new NEWS follows: sbopkg 0.34.1 (2011-02-05 04:20 UTC) FEATURES * Added Spanish translations of the man pages. Much thanks to Pablo Castano Fernandez for doing these translations. MODIFICATIONS * Revision of documentation. Major reformatting and some textual modifications of /usr/doc/sbopkg-*/* including breaking out the credits in the script into a detailed THANKS file, renaming and reformatting ChangeLog.txt into NEWS, renaming the sample queuefiles from *.sqf to *.sqf.sample, and making lesser modifications to all the other docs. BUGFIXES * Fixed issue where MKDIR_PROMPT was being ignored. Thanks to catkin for raising this issue. * Fixed issue where -o would wrongly produce no output. Thanks to ArTourter for raising this issue and to Mauro Giachero for the patch. * Fixed issue where TAG would sometimes not appear in the final package. Thanks to chytraeus for raising this issue. * A revision which fixed a failure to properly initialize directories when running under bash 3x was committed but didn't make it into the released package. It is included in this release. Also fixed a problem with a blank line being wrongly displayed in the directory initialization output in older bashes. Thanks to greinze for pointing the latter out. * Fixed documentation bug where the obsolete SBOPKGTMP and current TMPDIR variables weren't correctly documented. Thanks to dive for raising this issue. * Fixed non-documentation bug where TMPDIR wasn't being correctly assigned when set in sbopkg.conf. Thanks to Ken Roberts for reporting the issue and providing a preliminary fix. I think for automounting you need to rebuild libfm/pcmanfm over gnome-vfs (and deps gnome-mime-data, ORBit2, GConf, libbonobo, gnome-vfs) too if you are on stable. If you are on current you can build it over udisks+upower (and deps: libatasmart, sg3_utils, udisks, upower): have a look at these slackbuilds for that https://github.com/Ponce/slackbuilds/tree/8a78389aadc14ae8525fdc591558aa6b6245e613/libraries/libfm-new https://github.com/Ponce/slackbuilds/tree/8a78389aadc14ae8525fdc591558aa6b6245e613/system/pcmanfm-new Matteo From mjjzf at syntaktisk.dk Mon Feb 7 15:14:56 2011 From: mjjzf at syntaktisk.dk (Morten Juhl-Johansen =?ISO-8859-1?Q?Z=F6lde-Fej=E9r?=) Date: Mon, 7 Feb 2011 16:14:56 +0100 Subject: [Slackbuilds-users] Pcmanfm issue... Make sure you're using the wrapper script to launch Chrome. This exports the correct LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Sometimes this will happen if an application attempts to import a different libnss rather than using the system one. The error happens when an application attempts to link to an old libnssutil. Slackware's libnssutil is the correct version and works fine with Chrome. Check the symlinks in /opt/google/chrome/ for libnspr4 and libnss*. These should point to /usr/lib/seamonkey/ Also see if you have another package (non Slackware provided) installed which might include a conflicting libnss. There's a registered issue[0] about this on their support issue tracker, but I don't see anywhere that it had been solved. [0] http://code.google.com/p/support/issues/detail?id=4134 Perhaps this project has a mirror on bitbucket.org? This feature is supported there: http://bitbucket.org/$USERNAME/$APPNAME/get/$CHANGESET.tar.bz2 If there's no official mirror, you could provide it yourself by cloning the repo and pushing it into bitbucket.org. Or you could try asking the upstream to do this for you. -- Audrius Ka?ukauskas -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Ah, that's it. Due to the error message, I was searching for conflicting copies of libnssutil3.so, but that is where the symbol is *used*. The repository has the package called drbd-tools (there used to be two packages, drbd-kernel and drbd-tools, for slack13.0 before drbd became part of the vanilla kernel) and it is called only drbd in the website. The source these days is simply called drbd so I suspect that's what the SBo package should be called but either would probably be fine as long as it is consistent. There's an issue for this, http://code.google.com/p/support/issues/detail?id=810 so if you're interested you should star it - but otherwise the issue is locked so you can't add comments. I created http://code.google.com/p/support/issues/detail?id=5006 as an alternative that summarizes the SF.net/ViewVC feature. 2011/2/19 > Send SlackBuilds-users mailing list submissions to > slackbuilds-users at slackbuilds.org > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://lists.slackbuilds.org/mailman/listinfo/slackbuilds-users > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > slackbuilds-users-request at slackbuilds.org > > You can reach the person managing the list at > slackbuilds-users-owner at slackbuilds.org > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of SlackBuilds-users digest..." > > Today's Topics: > > 1. Short story shorter, I contacted the gentleman listed as maintainer and he told me he is, in fact, no longer maintaining the package -- nor the two dependencies he formerly maintained, libixp and plan9port. I am happy to make updates to these if no one else has claimed them. The workaround is to build google-gadgets with CXXFLAGS="-Wno-invalid-offsetof" See: http://code.google.com/p/google-gadgets-for-linux/issues/detail?id=352#c1 I incorporated that into google-gadgets slackbuild and it works.
