Stephan Beckert, that's developing freesigs on Slackware ( https://bitbucket.org/becki/freesigs ), contacted me asking if I can update lua to its latest version as 5.2.0 is out since some time: I told him that I have explained on linuxquestions that lua-5.2.x is incompatible with lua-5.1.x, and many piece of software depending on it will simply stop working with the newer version http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/slackware-14/%5Btesting%5D-lua-5-2-0-beta-887571/ http://www.lua.org/manual/5.2/manual.html#8 and that I was thinking to submit the update for 5.1.5 (actually, I have already submitted it). he told me that lua-5.2.x has some interesting features for developers, such as native bitwise operations, that he is using on his project, so asked me if it was possible to add this version too: seeming reasonable to me, I prepared a slackbuild for lua52 that I plan to submit when I'll be back from Washington D.C. Luis, I have no idea because I don't know what OpenShot is or does. But, if it's a missing library it could be either 32- or 64-bit. The fonts have the same licence as the rest of the application and allows the user to use them and embed them in documents as they please. The Adobe Acrobat Reader fonts are subject to the Adobe Acrobat Reader software EULA and I don't see a "do what you want clause." There are some redistribution and usage issues and the EULA does not allow you to do "as you please." http://www.adobe.com/products/eulas/reader/x/eula_en_gb.html http://store1.adobe.com/type/browser/info/embedding.html There are plenty of decent public domain, open source and creative commons fonts if you are looking for document creation. That said, as I am definitely not a lawyer (and I really do detest EULAs in general), perhaps leave it to the user: include a switch with default of "no" and link them for system wide installation. -Ed -- You! I have a problem with it and would like your assistance in resolving the issue. I've used the same pflogsumm (non-SBo) for years, and it's worked just fine with all postfix versions including the current 2.9.1. The executable was in /usr/local/bin/. Yesterday I downloaded the current version, built, and installed it. This morning, instead of the usual summary of yesterday's maillog I got this: ------------------------------------------------------------ >From root at appl-ecosys.com Fri Mar 30 04:40:03 2012 Date: Fri, 30 Mar 2012 04:40:03 -0700 (PDT) From: root at appl-ecosys.com To: rshepard at appl-ecosys.com Subject: salmo Daily Mail Report for Friday, 30 March 2012 Report based on information in /var/log/maillog Report ended with status: 126 ------------------------------------------------------------ What's status 126?
