[Slackbuilds-users] Building perl-cairo: can't find ExtUtils::Depends though it is installed

Hi,

I'm currently trying to build the perl-cairo package on a stock 
Slackware 14.0 install.

I duly built and installed the perl-extutils-depends and 
perl-extutils-pkgconfig packages as explicitly requested. Still, the 
perl-cairo build gives me this:

Cairo-1.101/Makefile.PL
Cairo-1.101/doctypes
Cairo-1.101/CairoPath.xs
Cairo-1.101/cairo-perl.typemap
Cairo-1.101/META.yml
Cairo-1.101/CairoRegion.xs
This module requires ExtUtils::Depends to install itself.
   Install ExtUtils::Depends from CPAN? [n] ^C

Is there something else missing that's not stated in the explicit 
dependencies? Any idea what's going on?
