[Slackbuilds-users] wxcam build failure

Anyone had success (or difficulty) compiling wxcam on a standard 32 bit
Slackware 14 system? All dependencies are installed.

Error encountered is:

XvidEncoder.cpp:22:18: fatal error: xvid.h: No such file or directory
compilation terminated.
make[2]: *** [XvidEncoder.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/tmp/SBo/wxcam-1.1/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/SBo/wxcam-1.1'
make: *** [all] Error 2


Might it be relevant that KDE is not installed on the system in
question (can't see why but I should mention it)?
