  and at the very beginning:

Package damageproto was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `damageproto.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable


  What's damageproto, how do I install it and how do I add it to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH?
