No, I don't have multilib (yet). The plot thickens:

seb at e130:~$ ldd /usr/bin/ekiga | grep libpt
libpt.so.2.10.10 => /usr/lib64/libpt.so.2.10.10 (0x00007faf42539000)
libpthread.so.0 => /lib64/libpthread.so.0 (0x00007faf4136b000)
libpt.so.2.10.9 => not found

How can it be looking for both versions of ptlib at the same time? Am I 
doing something really silly here?
