[Slackbuilds-users] (libreoffice/openoffice) /usr/libexec/slackpkg/core-functions.sh: cannot allocate memory RESOLVED

Willy: Thank you!
I'm new to slackware. I'd actually installed a series of
slackbuilds.org packages
using installpkg but then ran slackpkg a few times for other things
and forgot that
the *pkg command I'd been using for the SBo packages was different.
It would be good if the slackpkg program handled this mistake more
gracefully.
The error message was misleading and had me completely stumped.

I had libreoffice 4.2.3 built and installed fine here on my machines
(desktop, workstation, laptop)
You should use installpkg rather than slackpkg for installing local
packages
