It's been awhile but IIRC, these are for iPhone and iPad support.  Classic
iPod provides for the iPod nano, classic etc (libgpod I think that's in
L-series).

I haven't yet tried my nano on 14.1, nor my iPhone 5c ( my employer
replaced all our blackberries)
