Certainly works with current git FFmpeg and as well with the
latest FFmpeg release 2.5.1. I realise it sounds a little like the
'tail wagging the dog' but perhaps it is time to update FFmpeg?

Slackbuilds.org is holding FFmpeg 2.1.5 which is now unmaintained by
the FFmpeg developers, a little rough since it only came out 5 months
ago and was only updated to 2.1.6 in November  but that is the way
with FFmpeg...
