[Slackbuilds-users] Compile/make error for Octave 3.8.0 on Slackware Current (32bit)

Hello.  I am trying to compile Octave 3.8.0 on Slackware Current using
the Slack Build script, and it fails with error(s) concerning libcore
fcn?  I installed blas, then lapack, then tried to compile/install
octave.  Any advice on where I should start to troubleshoot this?
