Hi

The reason why it wasn't updated for now is that too many packages
depends on ffmpeg, either hard dep or optional dependency and  it
would be a headache to test all those possibilities for now.

The maintainer (Heiz) is going to take care of it during the
development cycle of SBo when next Slackware is about to be released.

meanwhile, either use the SlackBuild available in our repository, or
feel free to make some modifications and upgrade your local ffmpeg.
