[Slackbuilds-users] rawstudio & lensfun

Hi.
Sorry to resurrect the thread. I recently successfully built rawstudio
against the latest lensfun. The common solution is to
delete all instances of LF_MODIFY_CCI which is depreciated in the
newer versions.
But, even with that, the current stable version is too old and has a
very limited support for cameras lagging a few years. Lens correction
won't work with a bunch of cameras anyway.
Although there is a new version in the git repo which is regulary
updated (and supports newer cameras). This version unfortunately depends
on some Gnome stuff (a geo locating library with Gnome deps) so I wasn't
able to try it. You can find it here:
https://github.com/rawstudio/rawstudio if you wish to try building it.
Please share your experiences with the mailing list if you do. :)
For now, Darktable works very well for me. So I probably won't
experiment with Rawstudio in a close future. But I would be interested
in reading any further discussion on the matter.
Cheers,
Bojan.
