AMD in some open source drivers, some Mesa-opengl versions, but not
intel which uses VA-API (accessible via libvdpau-va-gl).

That said, it may be time to adjust the wording a bit since "way back"
only Nvidia supported vdpau.  I don't want to get into a situation when
vdpuainfo "doesn't work" on a non-Nvidia system due to lack of the
correct drivers/dependencies.
