[Slackbuilds-users] Upgrade of lirc -- unable to contact maintainer

I did some work (with the help of David Spencer) to get lirc to compile on
-current. In the process of doing this, I attempted to contact the current
maintainer, Murat D. Kadirov <banderols at gmail dot com>, and the email
was no longer valid.

I had originally just intended on sending my changes to Matteo to get added
to his unofficial -current repo, but David suggested I verify that it works
on 14.1 and then contact the mailing list to see if I can take it over. I
have verified it works with 14.1, although, because of the new lirc
version, it does require python3 and python3-PyYAML (I just submitted the
second one to SBo today and it's in the pending queue).

Are there any objections to me becoming the maintainer of lirc or does
anyone know how to get in touch with Murat?
