[Slackbuilds-users] Issues with Qt5-5.5.1 and python3-PyQt5

I'm trying to move from wxPython's widget set to Qt5's widgets with PyQt5
and I'm not getting the expected results. This on a 32-bit desktop running
Slackware-14.1.

Yesterday I downloaded, built, and installed python3-sip and
qt-everywhere-opensource-src-5.5.1. Well, the latter (360M compressed
tarball) took 7.5 hours to build on this i686 AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 255
Processor. I specified DOCS=yes and EXAMPLES=yes on the command line but can
find neither. I also cannot find the QtDesigner anywhere. Today I built and
installed python3-PyQt5-5.5.1.

There is an ancient qt designer (binary in /usr/local/bin/designer) from
2010 and it looks more like The GIMP with multiple windows than it does like
the current QtDesigner.

Before I spend tomorrow rebuilding and reinstalling Qt5 I'd like to know
what I might have done incorrectly or just plain missed doing.

TIA,

Rich
