Starting VB to check after having seen your post i just got a pop-up
window advising me that 5.0.14
is available ;)

I have 5.0.12, installed directly with the .run script, not built
here. That works fine, I have no less that 19 VMs ready so I will
upgrade and do not expect any issue.

If it is acceptable for you, just go there:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/virtualbox/downloads/index.html
and pick the "run installer" that fist your $ARCG, else you will find
the source tarball at the end of the same page.

Small tip: if you choose the run installer use a right click to copy the
link, else the script it will be displayed in your browser (and that
takes a while).
