Hi,
sorry I'm not a programmer, but found a small problem with NM-openvpn

from https://openvpn.net/ got directed to PrivateTunnel to setup a VPN 
service
trying to configure a VPN with a user profile from 
https://www.privatetunnel.com
it gags on

Cannot import VPN connection
The file 'San Jose.ovpn' could not be read or does not contain 
recognized VPN connection information

Error: configuration error: unsupported blob/xml element (line 77).
"

bla-bla-bla ................

had to change <extra-certs> to <cert>
and </extra-certs> to </cert>


The VPN server drops after ~ 1 minute of inactivity
For out of the box workability
should it also have the default configuration include a 30 sec ping to 
keep the VPN alive ?
