OK.  I can take academic/qrupdate.

academic/suitesparse can probably go away (unless something depends on
that old version), I've got scripts for each of its individual
components.

Likewise, academic/arpack can probably also go away.  Last I knew,
upstream was dead, but it's continuing to be maintained as arpack-ng.
I've got a script for that one.
