Actually I was wondering what to do about continuing my own little
project since the repology site is so good apart from minor
inconsistencies (like live555 reports).

As for live555 naming conventions, all the distros mentioned at repology
as packaging live555 (https://repology.org/metapackage/live555/versions)
use the same convention that we and upstream use for live555. Only one
distro (ALT Sisyphus) uses the convention that repology seems to favour.
