Agreed, incompatible shared lib without .so version bump = a bug. Someone
who actually cares about lua want to confirm that 5.3's shared lib is
liblua.so.6 and not .so.5?

The other piece of the puzzle will be lua scripts that start with
#!/usr/bin/lua or #!/usr/bin/env lua. Not being a lua expert, I dunno
how common standalone lua scripts are, as compared to embedding lua
via liblua.so.
