Get it from slackonly.com, for example
https://slackonly.com/pub/packages/14.2-x86_64/haskell/ghc/.  I've
just installed the package they provide in of my VMs and it seems to
work:

# ghc --version
The Glorious Glasgow Haskell Compilation System, version 7.10.3

It's the first time I've used slackonly.com, it looks nice.
