In fact, I have a dedicated root env (tty1 in the linux console) so I
am not going 'su' or 'sudo su' or whatever, I am just logining as
'root' at the console prompt.

Notice that keybase 2.1.0 from the SBo repository is also broken for
the same reason (wrong GO version). 
I am trying to figure out what is setting GOROOT and where.
