opencv was updated to 4.2.0 on 4 Jan 2020 at SBo (upstream was probably
a few days earlier).

The first of the 4.1.x series was was 9 Apr 2019, so about 9 months
between API changes.

This time around we were unlucky that frei0r had just made changes to
accommodate opencv 4.1.x API when 4.2.0 was released.
