I think, this a problem with the SBo updates. I not use sbopkg. Example:
transmission package, current version 3.00
If download with wget:

$ wget http://slackbuilds.org/slackbuilds/14.2/network/transmission.tar.gz

unpack this and transmission.SlackBuild

...
PRGNAM=transmission
VERSION=${VERSION:-2.94}
BUILD=${BUILD:-1}
TAG=${TAG:-_SBo}
...
