Hi Andrea,

Sorry for the delay getting back to this. I searched a bit around what other 
distros are doing and settled on the patch from Fedora for this. Also added a 
couple other patches in the process, so thanks for making me look :)
All these changes are in git right now and should go out with the next public 
update.
