As suggested elsewhere, I think all packages like runc which depend on
google-go-lang should have the following line, or some approved variant,
somewhere early in the SlackBuild:

[ -z "$GOROOT" ] && source /etc/profile.d/go.sh


This will remove the need to log out and back in if the google-go-lang
installation is new - as will be the case when building in a clean VM,
which many of us do.
