Jude, not everybody in this list knows that spi is a front end to slapt-get and
slapt-src (somehow similar to slackpkg and sbopkg respectively).

In this case you probably got this package:
https://slackware.uk/salix/x86_64/extra-15.0/salix/network/ddgr-1.9-x86_64-1salix15.0.txz
built by George using the SlackBuild available @ SBo.

Anyway...

I get the same error in Slint.

@ All: does it occur also in a genuine Slackware 15.0?
