Source download link is
https://github.com/jceb/dex/archive/refs/tags/v0.9.0.tar.gz

but SlackBuild has:
tar xvf $CWD/$PRGNAM-$VERSION.tar.gz

Jude, try renaming v0.9.0.tar.gz to dex-0.9.0.tar.gz in your source download folder.

Damian, this may be a content-disposition issue.  Someone has a github best practices URL link FAQ somewhere, but I can't find it on the SBo FAQ page.
