Hi everyone,

this will be the last update in 2023

As of December 2023 we have over 9.2k scripts in the repository with 
over 730 maintainers (both active and inactive). The python splits 
contributes some of those newly added scripts but the remaining are 
purely new scripts. Let's keep this number growing in 2024.

Approvals are getting faster and smoother, thanks to the CI engine 
developed by Andrew Clemons into our github platform and also combined 
with our linter provided by Urchlay with  sbo-maintainer-tools.

I'm generating a maintainer status report, which list all maintainers 
along with their number of scripts they maintain, and also their latest 
update. This script was originally created by idlemoor and it uses 
Repology API to get all the data, so it's quite time consuming, so it 
won't be updated regularly (like weekly). It will be posted later after 
this announcement as it's still generating as i type this announcement.

let's say good bye to 2023 and looking forward for 2024.
