I've updated gdal to 3.7 and slackbuild for pdal to 2.5.4. I confirm,
the build with the new version solves the issue and works fine against
gdal 3.7
I tested just now in Slackware64 current, when I have tested also in
Slackware 15.0 (32/64 bit) I'll submit the new version. It should be
available in SBo next week, but if you don't want to wait you can use
the current slackbuild script, it works: you have to change only the
version of the package, no any other
