QEMU builds successfully in my clean Slackware64-15.0 qemu VM (updated 
on April 25, 2024).

options installed:
libslirp
device-tree-compiler
snappy
spice
usbredir
virglrenderer

build date: April 26, 2024

invocation:
SLIRP=yes BRIDGE_HELPER_SETUID=yes ./qemu.SlackBuild


I'll check on Slackware32 as soon as I figure out why qemu is spitting out

mount: /build: special build does not exist

when mounting the host build directory via virtio.9p passthrough.  Weird.
