Hello David,

I assume you mentioned the slackware package i prepared years ago.
For a long time i am not using slackware and ccl,
also as i remember ccl changed distribution format so script may be 
needed to be modified a bit more.

I don't know your experience with common lisp, but you should not use 
their default REPL (shell),
people mostly use EMACS or something more like an IDE.
Only exception could be clisp which has a better shell,
but still i would advice otherwise.

Maybe i will fix the script to update the version of CCL and include 
some docs in future,
if you don't have a specific need,
better try out SBCL in linux, CCL is better in MACOS (Cacoa support).
