[Slackbuilds-users] Fwd: gnome-desktop SlackBuild source is 404'd

The source URL for gnome-desktop has been 404'd for a number of weeks now.

It is a dependency to a number of my slackbuilds:
https://slackbuilds.org/advsearch.php?q=gnome-desktop&stype=revdep1

I sent an email to the maintainer two weeks ago, which is what I forwarded
in the remainder of this email to show my previous message.

I still haven't heard back. Do we know if Gustavo is still active? I could
have missed the memo if he did drop out.

Like I said in my other email, I will happily take over this slackbuild and
update the source URL if needed.

Hi Gustavo,

Your slackbuild for gnome-desktop-41.1 no longer has a valid source URL to
download, causing build failure.

Please update the .info file to a better source download, for example this
one works fine:
https://download.gnome.org/sources/gnome-desktop/41/gnome-desktop-41.1.tar.xz

If you are no longer using this slackbuild or maintaining it, I would
gladly take over and update it for you with your permission.
