        No, the AppImage  links against the system's
  glibc, not a bundled glibc.  I just tested it on a
  15.0 system with the  stable glibc version, it did
  not work, with the usual errors.  Upgrading to the
  testing glibc libraries allows the AppImage to run
  as expected.  So, no, this will not help us.
