bwidget is required as dependency by two packages: mcu8051ide
(with the same maintainer of bwidget) and therion, maintained by me.
Until now, therion didn't require any update of bwidget and probably
also mcu8041ide, so I think that the maintainer does not consider
the update essential.
It may also be the case that he is no longer interested in maintaining
this package. I don't know
