Is it easy to capture/log such messages? How?

BTW this is on a clean install of Slack 12 as rsync'ed the 12.0 folder tree from mirrors.tds.net then I used Alien Bob's rsync script with its dvd parameter to make a dvd from that.

curse_the_weather built just fine last night. Recently used Alien Bob's build scripts for Qemu/Kqemu (works very fine, I've a Win 2K SP4 in it that I sometimes run). cpan2tgz worked fine, added near 10 or so of my fav Perl modules. Some others apps too, built just fine.
