Totally agree with you Rich, it could be very risky. Try rpm2tgz, usually works fine with original RedHat like rpm. Check<br>

OK. Since screwing up the BIOS is usually considered a Bad Thing, and I've<br>
not used rpm2tgz I had no idea if it might work.<br>
