</span>OK, fair enough. I guess an advantage of the SBo versions is that they<br>
could be updated, or other build options included, if desired (whereas<br>
Slackware -stable packages need a strong reason to be changed).<br>

At the same time, it can be confusing to have multiple versions around -<br>
see the recent thread "Odd Directory Name in<br>
OpenSceneGraph-3.5.5.tar.gz" as an example - unless one already knows<br>
about them. Perhaps it would be good to add something about this in each<br>
relevant README, including what the advantage of each package might be.<br>
In the case of fltk, the versions are identical and it's not clear what<br>
the advantage(s) of one over the other might be.<br>
