<p>Hi,</p>
<p>I installed version 4.20251130.1 of xdtool, but the following
test doesn't focus the Firefox address bar, only the Firefox
window itself. Version 3, compiled with the same Slackbuild, does
focus the address bar correctly.</p>
<pre>xdotool search "Mozilla Firefox" windowactivate \
--sync key --clearmodifiers ctrl+l</pre>
<p>Regards</p>

I'm about to update xdotool to version 4.20251130.1. Builds that

depend on it (that aren't mine):

This email's being sent to all the maintainers, plus the mailing
list.
<br>
<br>
I've checked that everything at least builds with the updated
xdotool.
<br>
Also have done a bit of runtime testing, but none of these are
<br>
software that I use, so I'm not familiar with how to properly test
<br>
them.
<br>
<br>
So, could the maintainers of these packages help me out by testing
with
<br>
the updated xdotool? All that's needed is to get the source:

<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://github.com/jordansissel/xdotool/releases/download/v4.20251130.1/xdotool-4.20251130.1.tar.gz">https://github.com/jordansissel/xdotool/releases/download/v4.20251130.1/xdotool-4.20251130.1.tar.gz</a>
<br>
<br>
...and run the existing xdotool.SlackBuild with
VERSION="4.20251130.1"
<br>
in the environment.
<br>
<br>
Thanks.
