Hi Matteo,

First of all, thank you for the time and effort you put
into maintaining the repository for Slackware-current.

I understand your policy regarding the repository, but I
have a question about the gnome-terminal package.

The version currently available in SBo is 3.43.90, which is
kept there because of the dependency limitations of Slackware
15.0. However, the current upstream stable release is 3.60.0,
and Slackware-current already provides a sufficiently recent
        dependency stack to build it.

So, in this particular case, the old version in SBo is not
really a limitation of Slackware-current itself, but rather a
consequence of SBo having to remain compatible with Slackware
        15.0.

Would you consider accepting a current-specific version
bump to gnome-terminal 3.60.0 as an exception to the usual
        policy?

Thanks again.
