[Slackbuilds-users] Optimization flags for Perl modules

Hey, 

AFAIK is OPTIMIZE used for non-noarch packages only. 

By default, CPAN packages get their optimization flags from Perl. Extutils::MakeMaker allows overriding of these variables via the OPTIMIZE flag. If your package doesn't compile anything (noarch package), it doen't make sense to define OPTIMIZE.
